Enrolment Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Mentally and physically fit such as not suffering from any eye disease(s) such as colour deficiency, epilepsy, mental disorder, sudden attack of giddiness or any disability, illness or physical condition which is likely to cause the driving of a motorcar or the riding of a motorcycle to be a source of danger to the public.
• Passed eye-sight and colour blindness tests.
• Have not accumulated more than 12 demerit points under the Driver Improvement Point System (DIPS).
• Applicants above the age of 65 or pregnant drivers must produce a certified doctor's letter stating that he/she is fit for riding during the period of training.
• Valid Final Theory Test and documents to prove that they have taken practical test prior to their enrolment approval.
• Valid Provisional Driving License (PDL)
• Minimum of 8 practical lessons for Auto or Manual to be booked together with the Practical Driving Test date.
• Instructors may recommend additional lessons if required. Learners need to fulfill the recommendation.

Practical Lesson & Session Timings

The duration of each session is 100 minutes.

Booking of Practical Lessons

Upon enrolment, learners are required to commit and book a minimum of 8 practical lessons for Auto or Manual, to be booked together with the driving test date.

• Cancellation of any Practical Driving Lesson must be made at least 2 working days (48 hours - not inclusive of Public Holidays ) in advance.
• Cancellation must be made in person at the Customer Service Centre counters.
• Learners will have to replace any cancelled lessons to ensure that they attend the minimum 8 practical lessons for
  Auto or Manual.

Cancellations on the grounds of last minute or emergency cases including Medical Leave will not be entertained. No cancellation will be accepted on Public Holiday or when the centre is closed. If the practical lessons fall on the day after a Public Holiday or when the centre is closed, cancellation must be made not less than 48 working hours.

The amount paid for the duly successfully cancelled lesson, less any applicable cancellation charge(s), will be used to re-schedule lessons to meet the required minimum 8 practical lessons. No cancellation charge(s) will be imposed on the Learner so long as the total number of lessons cancelled does not exceed 18 times for the first year of enrolment.

Every learner is entitled to 18 Cancellation Counts, once you exceed your cancellation counts, $5.35 will be levied for every subsequent cancellation.

Booking of Practical Driving Test

Learners have to fulfill the following criteria when they apply for the Traffic Police Practical Driving Test :

• Valid Final Theory Test.
• Must have a valid PDL (Provisional Driving License).
• Booked a minimum of 8 practical lessons for auto or manual.
• Pregnant learners must produce a certified doctor’s letter stating that she is fit to drive during the test.

No cancellation or refund of Practical Driving Test date is entertained once booked.

With effect from 1st Oct 2008, there will be NO REFUND of test fees, vehicle rental and warming up fees for any cancellation of test date by you.
