BASIC FUNDAMENTAL TO 4-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE (4WD)
Course Objectives:
The objective of this course is to familiarize drivers with key features, capabilities and limitations of their off road capable 4WD vehicle, whilst developing a clear understanding of the correct techniques of a 4WD vehicle in desert, sand and remote situations. Protection of passengers, the vehicle and the environment are demonstrated throughout the training program.
This course provides the participants with the skills and knowledge required to use appropriate range, gear and technique to drive a four-wheel through desert and remote terrain, apply basic vehicle recovery techniques and learn tips for survival in desert and remote terrains.
