Our Key Initiatives

Adopting Cleaner Energy Vehicles (CEVs)
ComfortDelGro Driving Centre first added five Electric Vehicles (EVs) into its training vehicle fleet on June 1, 2022.

We aim to grow our training fleet to 100 Cleaner Energy Vehicles by 2030, which more than half of our training fleet will be Cleaner Energy Vehicles by then.

Class 3A EV Licencing & Refresher Courses
We provide training courses for learners to learn about the key differences between EVs and traditional cars, from charging technologies to driving dynamic and the impact EVs have on the environment.

Electric Motorcycle Familiarisation Course
The Electric Motorcycle course aims to equip licenced riders with knowledge in the definition and operational characteristics of an electric motorcycle. It also provides familiarisation on control and devices, conducting pre-ride checks and riding an electric motorcycle safely.

Our Premises

Solar Panels
As part of efforts to reduce our carbon footprint, we are tapping on solar power as an alternative cleaner energy source for our premises. We have also installed 290 solar panels on the rooftop of the centre, which will result in around 30% lesser electricity generated, leading to lesser greenhouse gas emissions to the environment.

Paper (Waste) Consumption
We’ve placed recyling bins in our premises that allow convenient disposal of paper, cans and bottles for recycling use for CDC staff and public.

Physical registration forms have been replaced with online forms.
Physical course brochures have been replaced with eBrochures.
E-certificates are issued to course participants upon completion of their training course.

Electricity Consumption
We have progressively switched to energy-efficient LED lightings & electrical saving appliances.Posters are placed to remind our staff to switch off all electrical appliances when not in use.

Water Consumption
All our water taps are water saving taps. PUB stickers are pasted on the mirrors of our washrooms to serve as a reminder to users to save water.

Our Awards & Recognition

We are proud to announce that we’ve received the Eco-Office certification by Singapore Environment Council (SEC) with our commitment to protecting the environment by reducing our consumption of energy, water and waste.
