The e-Trial enables provides learners with practice in the topics in the BTT and RTT. This enables learners to enhance their knowledge of the BTT and RTT curriculum. 

Each session of e-Trial is 50 minutes.

Learners are entitled to 4 free sessions for each of the theory test.

The e-Trial is available both in the classroom and online.

The Internal Evaluation (IE) is a mock test that simulates the actual Traffic Police BTT and RTT.  The IE enables learners to enhance their familiarity with the format and standards required by the actual TP BTT and RTT.

Learners will have to pass the compulsory Internal Evaluation before booking for the actual Traffic Police Basic or Riding Theory Test.

Learners are required to attend compulsory online theory lessons for Basic Theory Test (BTT), Riding Theory Test (RTT) and Defensive Riding Theory (DRT). All theory lessons and 8 practical stages must be completed before the Traffic Police Practical Riding Test is allowed to be booked.

Learners will learn about the theory contents under the guidance of a trainer in a large group setting.

The duration of each lesson is 100 minutes.

There are a total of 7 lessons:-

• BTT – 2 lessons
• RTT – 2 lessons
• DRT – 3 lessons

Learners are advised to attend the theory lessons in sequential order.

Cancellation of Theory Lessons can be made via:

Cancellation of any Theory Lessons must be made at least 2 working days (48 working hours – not inclusive of Public Holidays) in advance. No cancellation will be accepted on Public Holiday or when the centre is closed. If the practical lessons fall on the day after a Public Holiday or the Centre’s Off Day, cancellation must be made not less than 48 hours.

An additional $8.03 is payable for each subsequent booking (repeated bookings) of any theory lesson.

Learners are required to clear all 8 practical stages.

A Final Evaluation will be conducted by the school to prepare you for your Practical Riding Test.

Practical Lessons Requirements:-

• Training Record Book and Original Identity Card for every lesson
• Valid Provisional Driving Licence (PDL) before the commencement of every road practical lesson
• Helmet (open face/ modular motorcycle helmet with clear visor and PSB approved sticker), Gloves, Knee & Elbow Guards must be worn for every lesson.
• Proper attire – no shorts, slippers/ sandals are allowed
• Motorcycle Learners who are more than 15 minutes late for their practical lessons will not be allowed to proceed for their lessons to minimise disruption to other learners as lessons will start punctually.

Lesson fee paid will not be refunded.  Learners are advised to come early and be punctual for their lessons.

No cancellation or postponement is allowed for Circuit Revision Lessons.

A VALID Provisional Driving Licence (PDL) is required before the commencement of every road practical lesson.

Only one practical lesson may be booked at any one time.

Cancellation of any Practical Lesson must be made at least 2 working days (48 working hours – not inclusive of Public Holidays) in advance. Every learner is entitled to 18 cancellation counts. Once you exceed your cancellation counts, a charge of $5.35 (inclusive of GST) will be imposed for every subsequent cancellation. This applies to both Theory and Practical Lessons.

The amount paid for the duly successfully cancelled lesson, less any applicable cancellation charge(s), will be credited back to the Learner’s Store Value Account.

No cancellation or postponement is allowed for Circuit Revision Lessons, Self Practice Lessons and Re-training session.

In the Circuit Training Program, learners are given a comprehensive overview of their learning roadmap in CDC for both the theory component and practical component. Also, they will get to learn about the fundamentals of riding a Class 2B motorcycle and the key policies and procedures that guides their learning journey in CDC.

The Expressway Familiarisation Ride (EFR) is a free 100 minute course for learner riders whom have passed the Class 2B practical riding test.

During the EFR, learner riders get exposure to riding on the expressways. This enables them to learn the correct techniques of riding on expressways. Learner riders must attend the EFR before obtaining their Class 2B licence.

In the Simulator training, learners undergo 3 modules where they drive on simulated roads under various conditions that simulate potential road hazards.

This enables them to enhance their ability to recognise and respond to potential road hazards in a safe and controlled environment. In the process, learners enhance their defensive driving competencies.

Test Date Booking Criteria:

• Learners will have to pass the compulsory Internal Evaluation before booking for the actual Traffic Police Basic or Riding Theory Test.
• There will be NO REFUND of test fees for any cancellation of your test date.
• You are allowed to book for one test only. No multiple bookings of test dates across the test centres is allowed.
• Any multiple bookings of test will be cancelled and no refund of the test fees will be made.
• Have not accumulated more than 12 demerit points under the Driver Improvement Point System (DIPS).
• You must be able to produce your ORIGINAL SINGAPORE IDENTITY CARD OR PASSPORT for identification purposes when attending the test. Foreigners must produce ORIGINAL VALID WORK PASSES OR PERMIT.

Test Date Booking Criteria:

• Learners must complete all theoretical tests, simulator training and Practical Lesson 8.
• There will be NO REFUND of test fees for any cancellation of your test date.
• You are allowed to book for one test only. No multiple bookings of test dates across the test centres is allowed.
• Any multiple bookings of test will be cancelled and no refund of the test fees will be made.
• Have not accumulated more than 12 demerit points under the Driver Improvement Point System (DIPS).
• Pregnant learners must produce a certified doctor’s letter stating that she is fit to drive during the test.
• Must be able to produce your ORIGINAL SINGAPORE IDENTITY CARD OR PASSPORT for identification purposes when attending the test. Foreigners must produce ORIGINAL VALID WORK PASSES OR PERMIT.
• Valid Provisional Driving Licence (PDL) is required and must be produced when attending the test.

Learners must undergo a compulsory Re-Training which is a Traffic Police pre-requisite when applying for a re-test.

No cancellation or change is allowed for Re-Training session.
